It's odd how often lying and stealing go together. Possibly it's age-linked in some cases. I wonder if psychopathy is actually extended adolescence?

Lying and stealing go together because they're both forms of dishonest behavior, due to a lack of ethics. Age linked? Well, maybe in the sense that if you don't learn to empathize and/or behave ethically by the time you're adult, you're unlikely TO learn. Those patterns are set well before adolescence. And psychopathy's a whole other ball game.
