The green dress seems to be Taffetta. When it was made it just might have cost a ruddy fortune. It is partly professionally machine made and partly hand-finished. I think it was beaded by hand.

It's the skirt that has the beaded panel. (The incredible beaded panel that has seen better days, but it makes that dress outstanding)

The skirt would fit me with me with relatively minor alteration. Difficult to be sure because of the heavy white lining and the posh black lining and slip - but I would have to take the bodice off... No time for this...
