up 3 pounds - but scales gave three different readings and I've used the highest.

(This time last year the dust was settling, I was in the "Stuff them, we've been bombed by people who made a career of it" group and the nightmares about rabid dogs, etc. were about to recur. These have recurred throughout my life but have evolved; but I was climbing the walls because civilians were being asked to stay in our homes and not do anything to help.

The incident the following week triggered more open fear and I still think it was partly because they didn't ask people to do things. Giving blood etc. makes some people feel more in control of the situation.)
